We have heard it all before, “The Governor will lift the mask mandate soon, he won’t implement a vaccine mandate, he won’t shut businesses down, he won’t he won’t he won’t…..” WHEN WILL YOU WAKE UP????
When is it enough? Enough liberty taken, enough freedoms removed, enough small businesses shut down forever, enough parents left with children who forged their parent’s signature on a permission slip to take the vaccine because the GOVERNOR is PAYING THEM TO TAKE IT.
When is enough is enough? When do we demand that our legislators do their jobs and call themselves back into session? This isn’t about whether you agree with wearing a mask or getting a vaccine, it is about a Governor who is abusing his power. Your fear does not give you the right to allow the Constitution of the State of Louisiana to be abused. If you believe it does you have become someone who would stand by and watch the box cars go down the tracks. Don’t believe me? Think about it, how do you think that started? How did they divide the populace? Do you really believe it is okay to pay children ages 12-17 $100 to get a vaccination? To only require a written permission slip? Don’t you remember how frequently children forge their parent’s name on such documents? DO YOU CARE? Our Governor is out of control. It is time to stop letting him divide us. This is about proper governance. At some point, they will demand something you won’t agree with, but by then- you will have given away all your rights.
No legislator should be re-elected who doesn’t demand proper governance. They can vote up or down on the issues, but they, the representatives of the people should be voting, and debating. Not one single man.
